Compare insurance companies

Educational only — not a quote, not a recommendation, not a broker. This site is not an insurer or a broker, and nothing on these pages is a personalised price. A final price comes only from the carrier or a licensed agent, after underwriting. What these pages do is simpler: they lay out, side by side, what each company itself publishes — its cover options, its features, its discounts where published, and where to get an official quote — so you can compare like for like before you shop.

What comparison is not: it is not a ranking, not a “best company” verdict, not a star rating, and not a price for you. No carrier logos, testimonials or sponsored placements appear here, and no page on this site collects personal details for a quote. Where the research could not verify a figure on a carrier or official page, the cell says “Not published” — an honest gap, never a guess filled in from a third-party table.

Compare by line

How to use these comparisons

  1. Start with the line you are shopping for, and pick 2 or 3 companies to view side by side using the checkboxes on that page.
  2. Compare like for like: the same limits, the same deductible, the same cover type. A cheaper headline with a lower limit is not the same cover, and a discount percentage that only applies in some states is not a national price cut.
  3. Read the eligibility and footprint warnings on the page before you shortlist anyone — some companies are military-only, regional, club-specific, or have left a market altogether.
  4. Use the site's tools to work out what you need first, then take that need to the official link in the row. The carrier's own page and plan documents are the final word.

How competitors do it — and why this site does it differently

Many well-known comparison sites build their rate tables from Quadrant Information Services, a paid database built from carrier filings. That includes, in the 2026-11-05 research, Insurify (its own quote database plus Quadrant), The Zebra (Quadrant and S&P Global filings), ValuePenguin (Quadrant from public filings), NerdWallet (Quadrant, plus NAIC complaints and J.D. Power), Bankrate (Quadrant), MoneyGeek (Quadrant filed-rate data) and Compare.com (Quadrant filings). Policygenius historically used Quadrant sample quotes, and it no longer offers home or auto quotes at all: Matic acquired its property-and-casualty portfolio (announced 24 June 2026) and Policygenius stated on 21 September 2026 that it no longer offers home/auto quotes — so this site never links Policygenius as a home or auto quote route.

Quadrant is paid, and this site does not buy it. So these comparison pages use only free public sources and carrier-published features: the carrier's own product and quote pages, plus free public sources such as the CMS Health Insurance Exchange Public Use Files (including Rate PUF), the California Department of Insurance premium-comparison surveys, the Texas Department of Insurance transparency hub, and NAIC SERFF filing access (for example New Jersey, Oklahoma and Delaware). That is why you will not find a national average-premium table here: without Quadrant, a national average would have to be borrowed from a third party whose sample, profile and date cannot be checked on the page — and borrowed figures are exactly what these pages refuse to publish. Third-party table prices with no sourced average (Clearsurance's table figures), narrow samples presented as national figures (WalletHub's California-only cost figures) and lead marketplaces that route visitor details to agents rather than comparing editorially (QuoteWizard) are not used as sources here. The NAIC Consumer Information Source complaint-index URL was not directly opened in the research refresh and is therefore not linked here rather than guessed.

The trade-off is stated plainly: these pages are thinner on prices than a Quadrant-powered table, and thicker on honesty about what is actually published. A cell that says “Not published” is doing its job.

Disclosure and sources

This comparison hub and its six line pages are educational only. Countrypilot.net is not an insurer, not a broker and not an agent for any company listed, and no company paid for placement. Every carrier figure, feature and link on the line pages comes from the research register dated 2026-11-05, which is the only source used for carrier facts on these pages; each line page lists its own sources row by row, with the carrier page linked from every row. Retrieval date for every carrier claim: 2026-11-05. Figures may have changed since retrieval, and plan documents govern over any summary here. Free public sources referenced above: CMS Marketplace Public Use Files, California DOI premium comparisons, Texas TDI transparency hub, and NAIC SERFF filing access (New Jersey, Oklahoma, Delaware).
