How we make money

This page states the actual position of the insurance comparison on CountryPilot.net, as of 6 November 2026. It will be updated the day that position changes — a future revenue model is never written here as if it were current.

What we are — and what we are not

CountryPilot.net is an educational insurance tools site for US shoppers. We are not a licensed insurance agency or broker, we are not an insurer, we do not sell policies, and we do not set prices. The comparison pages lay out what carriers themselves publish, and published averages from regulators and public sources, so you can compare like for like before you shop.

How we make money now

As of 6 November 2026, the insurance comparison earns no money from insurers. There is no partner integration, no commission, no referral fee, and no payment from any insurer or comparison partner. No company has paid for placement on any comparison page, and no row is sponsored. No application to any partner program has been made for this comparison, and no payout figure has been agreed with anyone — so no payout figure is quoted anywhere on this site.

This statement was last reviewed on 6 November 2026 and will be reviewed again whenever the position changes, and at least every six months.

What would change if a partner is added

If a partner integration is added in future — for example a lead-generation form or a link-out to a partner that returns live prices — this page will be updated first, before any partner result is shown, to state: the partner's name, what the partner pays us (a commission or finder's fee on a completed purchase, or a referral fee on a click-through — whichever is true at the time), and how that payment is labeled on results. A partner placement will never be the default sort order, and it will never appear without a label saying it is a partner result. Until that update is published, there is no partner and no partner revenue.

The comparison will never sell a policy on this site, and no result will ever carry a “Buy now” button. A future partner result would be labeled Real integration result and would carry the verification caveat: the insurer sets the final price after checking your details, and if your driving or claims record, address, or cover details do not match what was entered, the final price can change. See how we calculate averages for the full label definitions.

What happens to your answers

Your answers in the comparison are used only to build the comparison on the page. They are not sold, and they are not shared with insurers — there is no partner integration to share them with. No account is created, no profile is saved, and no contact details are asked for at all in the comparison. If a partner integration is added, the step where sharing starts will name the partner and ask for your consent at that step, and this page will state what changes.
